On the 10th June, the Cities Resilience Forum (CRF) will convene for its third bi-annual meeting in Durban at the Buffelsdraai Landfill Site Reforestation Project’s community education centre. The CRF is a South African National Government initiative to stimulate an integrated response to climate change throughout South Africa. Currently, the nine metropolitan municipalities participate, but secondary cities and other municipalities are encouraged to participate through the establishment of compact partnerships with the metro cities. A brief report back on progress made with the CRF will be posted on this website following the meeting.
