Applications are open for fully funded city-to-city learning exchange opportunities, enabled through a joint initiative of European Commission, UNISDR and UN Habitat: Making cities resilient and sustainable: implementing the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 at the local level.
Each city-to-city learning exchange aims to bring two local authorities together that experience similar issues with regards to disaster risk reduction and building resilience, so that they may learn from one another.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 15, 2017. UNISDR gladly welcomes applications from all local governments and cities of the Making Cities Resilient Campaign including those participating in initiatives of other partners. For more information on this opportunity, visit the Resilient Cities Connect website.
