Posted in: Uncategorized
The UNDP’s Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) has announced a call for proposals from NGOs in South Africa to assist with the development of its Country Programme Strategy (CPS) for the 6th Operational Phase (2015 – 2018). The deadline for applications is the 20th of August 2015.

The SGP provides non-governmental and community-based organisations with grants to enable them to tackle global environmental challenges while addressing local sustainable development needs.

Proposals are invited from civil society organisations (NGOs/CBOs) or academic institutions with expertise in landscape management, community and stakeholder participatory processes, experience with community-led initiatives as well as knowledge and experience of working in one or more of the GEF focal areas (biodiversity, climate change, land degradation, international waters and chemicals).

For more information on how to submit your application, visit the UNDP website or email for queries.
