Landell Mills Ltd, acting on behalf of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for its 10th European Funding Programme: Coastal, Marine and Island Specific Biodiversity Management in the Eastern and Southern Africa-Indian Ocean (ESA-IO) region. The deadline for proposals is the 21st of August 2015.The objective of the Programme is to develop and strengthen national and regional capacity to manage the direct and indirect use of coastal, marine and island-specific eco-systems towards sustainable conservation of biodiversity.Proposals must relate to at least one of the following priority themes to be eligible: coastal and marine ecosystems; terrestrial and marine protected areas; sustainable farming and biodiversity management; alien and/or invasive species, marine and terrestrial; tropical, marine and migrant species. Actions must be implemented in the following countries: Comoros, Kenya, Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, and Tanzania.
