Applications are open for the Climate CoLab contest. The contest provides a chance to people around the world to work together in developing proposals for global climate change and how humanity should respond.
The programme is mainly based on the following question: How can vulnerable communities best prepare for climate-related hazards, and what new tools can be used to incentivise early action? The programme is looking for a wide range of innovative and practical solutions at local, national and international levels to help strengthen early action in communities around the world. The proposals submitted by contestants will assist scientists, policy makers, business people, and concerned citizens to think constructively together about this problem and also educate the general public about the real issues involved in global climate change.
The contest is open to anyone in the world, regardless of age, nationality, or political viewpoint.
Deadline for applications is 10 February 2017. For more information, visit the Climate CoLab website.
