The Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) is accepting proposals for its 2016 Capacity Enhancement Support Programme, which seeks to enhance the long-term capacity of GBIF Participants through collaborative projects. GBIF’s mission is to provide free and open access to biodiversity data.
The programme aims to address specific capacity needs identified by participants by facilitating capacity transfer and collaboration at the regional and global levels. Proposals are invited in the following areas:

GBIF advocacy actions
The maximum total funding is fifteen thousand euros (€15,000) per project.
The following countries are eligible to apply:
