The Swedish International Agricultural Network Initiative (SIANI) has announced a call for applications for Expert Groups to promote sustainable agriculture.
The Expert Groups are cross-sector working groups with participation from academia, the private sector, Swedish authorities and civil society whose purpose is to promote dialogue around sustainable agriculture.
The overall objective of this program is to end hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
Focus Areas for the Expert Groups include:
- Rural transformation
- Agricultural production and trade
- Landscape management
- Climate change, resilience, peace and conflict
- Nutrition and health
Expert Groups do not need to be geographically located in Sweden, but should demonstrate engagement with Swedish funded activities and institutions.
