Applications Open for Global ReLeaf Grants 2016

American Forests is inviting interested applicants to apply for their Global ReLeaf Grant that supports projects aimed at restoring threatened forest ecosystems.

American Forests have been supporting tree planting since 1991, their Global ReLeaf projects have addressed restoration of threatened wildlife habitat and watersheds, recovery from natural disasters, societal and recreational benefits, expansion of urban forests and more. American Forests wishes to continue their legacy by providing a grant that will fund restoration efforts on public lands. The tree planting projects must raise awareness and inspire people to recognise the need to protect forestry, funds may be used for various activities associated with the tree restoration planting. The grant is open to nonprofit organisations and public agencies in the U.S. and around the world that have expertise and experience in conducting tree planting projects.
