The Adaptation Mitigation Readiness (ADMIRE) Project invites proponents to submit their ideas for mitigation and adaptation focused projects for 2015. The ADMIRE Project is a 3 year project (2014 – 2016) funded by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is a collaboration between the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the UNEP DTU Partnership, a research-based collaboration centre for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) focusing on energy, climate and sustainable development in developing countries.

This unique opportunity will allow for the development of local climate mitigation and/or adaptation ideas into financeable and implementable frameworks for action through working together with experts in the field. The deadline for applications is the 20th of August 2015.

Ideas can be submitted for both the mitigation and adaptation categories by filling out the online application forms individually for each category.

All non-Annex I countries are eligible for support, but a geographically balanced distribution of activities will be sought. Proponents will be notified after the 1st November 2015 if their applications have been successful or not.

For more information on eligibility criteria, examples of projects and how to apply visit the ADMIRE project website.
